BRPH is looking for a Senior BIM Coordinator for ourAtlanta, Georgiaoffice.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:



  • Provide BIM Coordination and daily management of BIM project data
  • Develop BIM Project Execution Plans with BIM Manager
  • Lead BIM project kickoff meetings to demonstrate BIM process to Design team
  • Prepare project specific training documentation on project BIM execution plans
  • Work with BIM Manager to setup BIM projects from company templates
  • Provide discipline specific technical management of project BIM data
  • Liaise with BIM Manger and Design team to ensure changes in BIM Project Execution Plans, company procedures and standards are effectively communicated to project teams
  • Create, manage and maintain project content for project teams
  • Provide one-to-one mentoring on 'Best Practice' workflows to project teams as required
  • Support BIM project teams while enforcing "modeling best practices"
  • Contributing to ongoing process improvement of in-house BIM Standards
  • Review BIM models for quality control -completion of Brph BIM Standard Compliance Reports
  • Review Revit "warnings" to help keep model problems to a minimum
  • Revit Model Migration - moving Revit models forward to newest version while verifying their integrity and completeness
  • Create "as-built "Revit models from 2d legacy/owner drawings to be used as reference information or starting points for project teams
  • Exporting Data for use by other disciplines and/or firms (AutoCAD backgrounds, Navisworks exports, etc...)
  • Coordinate weekly Information Exchange across Design Team
  • Navisworks Clash Detection/Model Coordination
  • Attend Clash Detection review meetings
  • To contribute or otherwise assist design as required in discipline capacity
  • Work with BIM Manager to Investigate and test new Revit add-ons and other BIM/IPD technologies
  • Develop project specific "Lessons Learned" to continually improve process
  • Project CAD Support (including the support of legacy CAD packages)



REQUIRED QUALITIES & SKILLS:



  • In-depth working knowledge of Autodesk Revit and BIM supporting applications
  • Experience of working in a project coordination role for CAD applications
  • Excellent communications skills both written and verbal
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Able to manage sensitive and sometimes confidential information
  • Good interpersonal skills and able to work independently and as part of an effective team
  • Flexible attitude
  • Able to build good relationships at all levels, internally and externally
  • Experience working in a fast paced architectural/engineering production environment
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office 2016 Suite
  • Self-motivated and able to take responsibility and ownership of tasks
  • Resilience to cope with conflicting demands, able to prioritize duties and work effectively under pressure while remaining calm and professional at all times
  • Able to demonstrate initiative and a proactive approach to daily tasks
  • Thorough knowledge of and compliance with BRPH procedures and standards



EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:



  • Minimum of Associates Degree, in Architecture, Engineering or Construction related field, from an accredited two-year college or university.
  • Must have minimum of 6 years related experience in areas listed under essential duties and responsibilities.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Must be able to meet the physical requirements of a construction job site safely.
