Overview We're looking for a Mechanical Engineer - Process Piping Internto join our dynamic team in ourMelbourneoffice Summer 2026. As aProcess Piping Intern, you will assist in the design and analysis of piping systems for a variety of high-tech facilities, including launch sites, test stands, manufacturing, and processing plants. You'll work under the guidance of experienced engineers to learn how to translate owner requirements into design solutions and communicate your work through drawings, calculations, and technical documentation. You'll collaborate with engineers across multiple disciplines, gaining exposure to real-world design processes, codes, and software tools. This internship is a hands-on opportunity to develop technical skills and contribute meaningfully to exciting aerospace and industrial projects. Job Responsibilities
Qualifications EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related discipline from an ABET-accredited program. Completion of coursework in thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and materials science preferred. Basic familiarity with AutoCAD, Revit, or other 3D modeling software a plus. Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Interest in fluid systems, piping design, or aerospace/manufacturing environments.
