S&B USA Constructionis a family of diversified heavy-civil and industrial construction companies with a primary focus on Alternative Delivery procurement projects such as Design-Build, Progressive Design-Build, Construction Manager/General Contractor (CM/GC), Construction management at risk (CMAR) and Public-private partnerships (P3).

We are currently seeking a Project Executive to provide leadership and oversight for one or more large, complex construction projects, which may include a portfolio of projects within an assigned region, client group, or market sector, or a single, high-profile project. This role is responsible for overall project performance, including safety, schedule, financial results, and client satisfaction. The Project Executive leads project teams, maintains senior-level client relationships, and supports business development and strategic growth initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:



  • Provide executive oversight and strategic direction for multiple concurrent projects
  • Provide full executive leadership and accountability for a single large, complex, or high-profile project when assigned


  • Create a strong culture of safety, accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement while mentoring and developing Project Managers, Superintendents, and project leadership teams. Ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with contract requirements
  • Oversee project financial performance, including budgets, forecasts, cost-to-complete, and change management
  • Serve as company representative to owners, designers, and key stakeholders
  • Identify and resolve project risks, issues, and performance challenges
  • Support business development efforts, pursuit strategies, and long-term client relationships
  • Ensure compliance with corporate policies, safety, quality, and regulatory requirements


Qualifications:

Required:



  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Minimum 15 years of progressive construction experience, including leadership of large, complex projects
  • Strong knowledge of construction operations, contracts, finance, and project controls
  • Proven leadership, communication, and client management skills


Preferred:



  • Experience overseeing multiple projects or regional programs
  • Heavy civil, infrastructure, or complex construction experience
  • Experience with public agency clients and/or alternative delivery methods
  • Professional Engineer (PE) or similar certification

Working Conditions, Mental and Physical Demands:



  • Typically, an office environment with adequate lighting and ventilation, and a normal range of temperature and noise level.
  • Work assignments are diversified. Interpret, comprehend, and apply complex material, data, and instruction - prepare, provide, and convey diversified information.
  • Minimal physical effort required. Work is mostly sedentary but does require walking, standing, bending, reaching, lifting, or carrying objects that are typically less than 10 lbs. (e.g., papers, books, files and small parts, etc.). Moderate dexterity - regular application of basic skills (calculator, keyboard, hand tools, eye/hand coordination.
  • Work has periodic stress due to frequent goals and deadlines, and responsibility associated with the role.
