Norris' Group Care Programs include a Residential Unit for boys, a Residential Unit for girls, and a Shelter Unit, all providing treatment, educational, and therapeutic recreational services to youth ages 12 through 17 and their families. Youth receive services related to mental health emotional behavioral disorders, problematic sexualized behaviors, AODA, and trauma, including physical, sexual, emotional abuse or neglect. Norris is currently seeking an individual to join the Maintenance Team, for the role of Buildings and Grounds Specialist for our Mukwonago campus. Under the supervision of the Buildings & Grounds Supervisor, the Buildings and Grounds Specialist works closely with other team members and Supervisor to plan for, schedule and execute a wide variety of janitorial and routine/preventative maintenance and miscellaneous tasks related to the appearance, cleanliness and working order of Norris buildings, grounds, vehicles, and equipment. Additional responsibilities may include assisting with construction projects, operating grass cutting or snow removal equipment and assisting with special functions or events on campus. All tasks are to be accomplished in an efficient and cost effective manner and in compliance with established quality standards and safety procedures. The Building and Grounds Specialist ensures sensitivity to the ethnic and cultural diversity of youth, families, and employees while effectively communicating and promoting the philosophy, goals, policies, and procedures of Norris. The Building and Grounds Specialist position requires the individual to work a flexible schedule that is subject to change to meet needs at any time including weekends, nights and/or holidays and participating in a rotating on-call schedule.
