Job Title: Analyst - GBM - Operations - Securities Settlements Duration: 06 months Location: New York, NY Duties Your Impact The Securities Settlements team within Global Markets Operations (GMO) is seeking a skilled professional who will help manage settlements for the Americas. In this role, you will apply your quantitative, problem-solving, and customer service skills to support the various business units and clients. You will also play a key role in suggesting and implementing process improvements on the team to mitigate risks and enhance the overall client experience. Securities Settlements is a dynamic team in Operations that processes and controls the settlement of all asset types, transfer of electronic and physical assets relating to company distributions, client trades, and the restructuring of client portfolios. How You Will Fulfill Your Potential Prepare to gain a comprehensive understanding of the trade lifecycle by interacting with the business, middle office, legal, compliance, and external parties to work toward shared goals Partner with expert teams to review assets and transfers from start to finish to ensure a seamless process for clients Ensure all transaction details are accurately captured through strong attention to detail Identify control gaps within transfer processes and propose enhancements to mitigate risk Leverage innovative thinking to continuously improve existing processes Mitigate risk for the firm and its clients through precise execution Uphold the firm's culture of excellence in work quality, interactions, and service delivery Basic Qualifications Proven analytical and problem-solving skills with a strong control mindset and attention to detail Ability to build relationships and communicate complex concepts to internal partners with varying levels of product knowledge Self-motivated, proactive team player with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities Flexible and able to perform effectively under pressure in a team environment Strong dedication to the firm's culture of excellence Preferred Qualifications Experience in transfer of assets functions within the financial industry Experience in the securities post-trade environment, specifically Securities Settlements
