Position Summary

This newly created position is a critical piece to building a distribution network that will support the next generation of Gates North America. The distribution center network is seeking an Instructional Design Coordinator to help develop standard work and a learning management system for all DC processes. The successful outcome of this critical role is twofold. First developing standard work for all DC processes that will be used for training new and existing employees. Second maintain the training program to keep all North American DCs on process.



This role is in Denver, CO or Hebron, KY with expectations for travel up to 50% during periods of content discovery and training.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Curriculum Development - Collaborate with DC leaders and associates to design, modify, and evaluate instructional materials.
  • Training and Support - Conduct training sessions for DC staff on standard work and learning management systems.
  • Assessment and Evaluation - Assess the effectiveness of instructional strategies and recommend improvements based on data analysis and feedback.
  • Technology Integration - Stay updated on emerging technologies and instructional design trends to enhance learning experiences.
  • Resource Management - Manage instructional technology resources, including software and hardware, to support curriculum development and delivery.
  • Collaboration - Maintain a strong relationship with DC leaders and internal customers to ensure alignment with program standards and best practices.

Requirements and Preferred Skills

  • Education - Bachelor's Degree required, preferable in Instructional Design, Education Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience - At least 5-7 years of experience in instructional design, curriculum development, or a related educational role.
  • Skills - Strong interpersonal and communication skills, proficiency in Learning Management Systems (LMS) and multimedia design tools.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.

PAY & BENEFITS



  • Full-Time
  • Salary Range: $95,000 - $110,000
  • Relocation is not provided
  • Medical, Dental, Vision insurance and other voluntary benefit options: benefits beginonthe first day of the month immediately following your date of hire
  • Eligible for 3 weeks of paid vacation + 11 holidays (9 scheduled & 2 floating) + 8 sick days. All vacation days are accrued
  • 401(k): 3% company contribution and additional 3% company match
  • Tuition Reimbursement
