Our organization is accountable for program planning, financial budgeting, and project execution and delivery of all electric engineering projects. Electric Engineering is comprised of approximately 2,000 coworkers. Position Summary The Substation Asset Implementation Manager leads the team responsible for development and implementation of substation projects and programs. Incumbents are responsible for developing electric substation asset development proposals and for managing and improving performance of the electric substation assets from a long and short-term, asset performance, capacity, and reliability, perspective. Incumbents partner with internal departments and cross-functional teams to establish the safest, most reliable, and cost- effective electric transmission infrastructure system, and may communicate with regulators, customers and other external stakeholders to advance PG&E's objectives. This position is flexible throughout the PG&E service territory (bay area preferred). This position is hybrid, working from your remote office and your assigned work location 1-2 days in office per week, but is subject to change, based on business need. PG&E is providing the salary range that the company in good faith believes it might pay for this position at the time of the job posting. This compensation range is specific to the locality of the job. The actual salary paid to an individual will be based on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, specific skills, education, licenses or certifications, experience, market value, geographic location, and internal equity. Although we estimate the successful candidate hired into this role will be placed towards the middle or entry point of the range, the decision will be made on a case-by-case basis related to these factors.
