SUMMARY The Maintenance Planner is responsible for the effective planning of maintenance activities for the assigned Area Maintenance team. They are responsible for ensuring that non-emergency maintenance activities are planned, by ensuring that all resources, including, but not limited to, detailed operations, material and spare parts, external labor resources, drawings, manuals and lock out procedures, are identified and made available to the execution team, prior to the job being scheduled. They will coordinate with associated Maintenance Coordinator, Engineering, external vendors and contractors, warehouse personnel, procurement personnel and Production Personnel, to ensure that all required resources are available prior to execution, thus enabling work to be executed in a safe, reliable, cost-effective manner, and in alignment with established work management processes. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned, including but not limited to housekeeping and cross training.
