The Alaka'ina Foundation FOC's is looking for a Security Manager to support our Corporate Operations in Orlando, Florida.

DESCRIPTION OF RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ensures compliance with security requirements set by the Department of Defense (DoD) or a similar agency.
  • Process FCLs for newly established companies.
  • Develop security training and awareness specific to contract requirements.
  • Review RFPs and contract awards for security requirements and be able to interpret government requirements and provide guidance to Business Development and Contracts.
  • Trains and orients employees in security policies and procedures to ensure compliance with government and customer regulations. Provides briefing and debriefing to employees holding clearances, and regular re-briefing of employees on foreign travel and hostile intelligence.
  • Maintain a functional and beneficial Insider Threat Program in coordination with Operations, IT, and HR.
  • Participates in audits or inspections. Responsible for the successful preparation for and completion of annual inspections to ensure government compliance.
  • Work in coordination with IT to ensure information protection on company networks and systems.
  • Develop internal security policies and procedures that are in line with government and company regulations.
  • Leads regular self-inspections of security processes per NISPOM requirements.
  • Ensures compliance with NISPOM and all security protocols required by customers or contracts and keeps abreast of ever-changing industrial security regulations.
  • Maintains successful working relationships with government agencies and security offices of current customers.
  • May oversee the storage, retrieval, distribution, and destruction of classified materials. Ensures protection of classified documents through document control logs, security safes, and charge-out logs. Securely maintains personnel security records.
  • Ensure records and databases are kept up to date, and training records are accurate.
  • Report adverse information and or security incidents to leadership and up as needed.
  • Ensure security clearances within the company are held to a minimum.
  • Other duties as assigned.

REQUIRED DEGREE/EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION:

  • Bachelors' Degree.
  • Current or former FSO certification

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • A minimum of five (5) years of directly related security administration experience.
  • Must possess comprehensive knowledge of the subject matter, including DoD security processes and procedures.
  • Proficiency in the MS Office suite required.
  • Strong written and verbal skills, communication skills, and presentation skills.
  • Strong organization, prioritization, and follow-through skills.
  • Must be able to work under minimal supervision.
  • Must be able to work as part of a team.
  • Must be able to provide leadership, coaching, and/or mentoring to the Security team and act as a "lead" or first-level supervisor.
  • Must be able to handle complex issues and problems and refer only the most complex issues to higher-level staff.

DEISIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • In-depth working knowledge of NISPOM and NISS
  • Experience with DISS, e-QIP, and SWFT preferred.
  • Experience with DCSA audits preferred.
  • Experience with DHA requirements NP2 portal

REQUIRED CITIZENSHIP AND CLEARANCE:

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Top Secret clearance.
