The Impact You'll Make

As a Controls Technician, you'll be the hands-on expert who keeps our automated systems humming. Your work will directly impact production uptime, product quality, and operational safety. Whether you're fine-tuning a PLC program, providing hands-on troubleshooting on a robotic cell, or calibrating instrumentation, you'll be the go-to problem solver who ensures our systems perform flawlessly. The ideal candidate has a strong background in industrial automation, mechatronics and thrives in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.

What You'll Do



  • Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot our control systems, including PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, servo drives and industrial network devices.
  • Diagnose and repair issues with sensors, actuators, and motion control systems to minimize downtime.
  • Perform preventive maintenance, corrective actions, and root cause analysis on the production equipment, automation systems, robotic cells, building automation systems (BAS), and plant utility equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Collaborate with maintenance and engineering teams to improve equipment reliability and safety.
  • Support and maintain plant SCADA, recipe control, and data collection systems.
  • Create control narratives and machine procedures, maintain accurate schematics and other technical documentation, and keep records of work performed.
  • Support installation, commissioning new equipment and participate in system upgrades, testing and validation.



What You'll Bring



  • Degree or certification in Electrical/Controls or related technical field. Combination of education and/or related experience considered in lieu of degree.
  • 3+ years of experience industrial Electrician, Controls Technician, or similar role.
  • Proficiency with PLC troubleshooting (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, or similar) and HMI interfaces.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical systems, including pneumatics, hydraulics, and servo drives.
  • Familiarity with IDE platforms such as Logix Designer Suite and FactoryTalk preferred. IEC 61131-3 languages in other environments are also acceptable.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive, hands-on approach.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
