The Role:

As the Director of Surgery Services, you will be at the helm of our strategic vision for surgical operations. Located in a bustling healthcare hub, you will spearhead managerial functions, financial oversight, strategic direction, and leadership to ensure effective operations across educational, clinical, research, administrative, and outreach domains.

What You'll Do:



  • Strategic Visionary: Analyze the healthcare landscape to identify trends and implement strategic plans that align with clinical care, quality, and business objectives.
  • Marketing Innovator: Formulate and execute marketing strategies to attract and retain patients, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Leadership Architect: Cultivate collaborative relationships across the healthcare organization, serving as a consultant and role model for staff development.
  • Financial Steward: Collaborate on budget creation and management, ensuring strategic investments in capital equipment and resources.
  • Development Pioneer: Optimize medical documentation systems to enhance caregiver communication and continuity of care.
  • Performance Improvement Champion: Utilize Lean methodology and other tools to advance quality and safety in patient care.


What You'll Bring:



  • Educational Background: Master's Degree in Nursing or a related field with a solid foundation in acute care.
  • Experience: 10+ years in acute care, including 5+ years in progressive hospital leadership roles.
  • Strategic Expertise: Proven ability to integrate multi-site departments and develop strategic initiatives.
  • Financial Acumen: Experience in operational and business planning, ensuring fiscal responsibility.
  • Licensing: California Registered Nurse License and Greenbelt Certification upon hire or within one year.
  • Skills: Visionary leadership, strategic thinking, effective communication, influence, change management, quality improvement, risk assessment, conflict resolution, and staff development.

The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors.
