Genesis10 is seeking a Full Stack Engineer for a 12 month contract position with a client located in Milwaukee, WI. This is a hybrid opportunity. Compensation: $50.00 - 53.00 per hour, W2, depending on skill and experience level. Summary: Genesis10 is seeking an experienced Full Stack Engineer with a strong focus on React-based front-end development and solid back-end experience. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining scalable web applications using modern frameworks and cloud-friendly architectures. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in an agile environment, collaborating with both technical teams and business stakeholders, and contributing to high-quality, well-architected solutions. Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain full stack applications with a strong emphasis on React front-end development Build reusable, maintainable, and efficient components using React, HTML5, CSS, hooks, and Redux Develop and support back-end services using NodeJS (JavaScript or TypeScript) or Java Spring Boot Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions aligned with client needs Participate in agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives Perform peer reviews on system designs and application code to ensure quality and best practices Apply system design patterns and architectural principles to create scalable and reliable applications Work with relational and non-relational databases to design, query, and optimize data storage Support DevOps practices, version control, and CI/CD pipelines using Git and related tools Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent professional experience 5 years of professional experience in software engineering or application development Strong working knowledge of React, HTML5, CSS, functional components, hooks, and Redux Experience with NodeJS (JavaScript or TypeScript) and/or Java Spring Boot Familiarity with DevOps practices and Git-based version control Experience working with both relational and non-relational databases Hands-on experience with Postgres and DynamoDB preferred Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Ability to communicate effectively with technical peers and business stakeholders Experience developing solutions using agile methodologies Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.
