The Event Marketing Operations Manager is responsible for managing the end-to-end marketing workflow for event-related requests. This role serves as the operational bridge between the Events team and Marketing (Creative, Copy, Digital, and Production), ensuring all event marketing deliverables are scoped, prioritized, routed, and delivered on time.

This is not an event execution role. It is a marketing operations role focused on intake management, cross-functional coordination, and workflow oversight for event marketing assets.

Key Responsibilities

Event Marketing Intake & Scoping



  • Serve as the primary marketing point of contact for the Events team
  • Receive and review marketing requests from the Events team
  • Ensure briefs are complete, including objectives, audience, messaging, timelines, and required assets
  • Clarify scope and deliverables before routing work


Creative & Copy Workflow Management



  • Route approved requests to Creative and Copy teams
  • Build and manage project timelines and workbacks
  • Ensure alignment on asset types (email, landing page, signage, social, paid media, etc.)
  • Track revisions and approvals through completion


Project & Timeline Oversight



  • Maintain visibility across all active event marketing projects
  • Monitor workload capacity and adjust timelines as needed
  • Flag risks early and escalate when necessary
  • Ensure assets are delivered according to agreed milestones


Cross-Functional Coordination



  • Serve as primary liaison between Events and Marketing teams
  • Facilitate kickoffs for large-scale event campaigns
  • Ensure consistent messaging and branding across all deliverables
  • Align campaign calendars and avoid conflicts


Asset & Campaign Governance



  • Ensure proper documentation and version control
  • Maintain repository of event marketing assets
  • Ensure brand compliance and approval processes are followed
  • Track campaign execution against plan


Reporting & Visibility



  • Provide status updates to Events and Marketing leadership
  • Maintain dashboards reflecting request volume and timeline health
  • Identify workflow bottlenecks and process improvements


Required Qualifications



  • 5+ years in event marketing operations, campaign management, or project management
  • Experience managing creative and copy workflows
  • Strong understanding of marketing asset production timelines
  • Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects
  • Experience working in matrixed, cross-functional environments
  • Exceptional organizational and communication skills


Preferred Qualifications



  • Experience supporting large-scale events or integrated marketing campaigns
  • Familiarity with project management tools (Airtable, Jira, Asana)
  • Understanding of event marketing workflows


The target hiring compensation range for this role is $47.00/hr to $52.00/hr. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
