Senior Systems Engineer

As a Senior Systems Engineer, you will play a vital role in the areas of program/project management analysis, engineering and analysis, and planning. You will work collaboratively with a team to provide program/project management support for current and future TSA equipment.

Roles/Responsibilities:

• Candidate will support the TSA's Acquisition Program Management (APM), Program Executive Office (PEO) Property Screening - Electronic Baggage Screening Program (EBSP).
• The candidate will provide expert program management and analysis support contributing to the development and maintenance of procurement documentation, to include acquisition plans, scheduling, and analysis of projects.
• The candidate will provide expert program management support in the development of timelines, status reports, briefings, and other project documentation.
• Position includes a telework or fully remote option; however, preference will be given to local (Springfield, VA) candidates.
• Other TSA engineering needs as determined.

Required Skills and Education:

• Bachelor's degree is required in mechanical, electrical, systems, software or computer engineering, business administration, or other related discipline.
• Minimum of ten years of relevant experience.
• Experience in program/project management analysis and support.
• Experience in systems engineering.
• Experience in test and evaluation.
• Experience with DHS or DoD acquisition policy and directives.

Security Clearance:

• Be able to pass DHS suitability screening or DHS financial responsibility standards.
• Have or be eligible to receive a Secret security clearance. Existing Secret Clearance is a plus.
