As an Armed Patrol Officer at a busy retail location, you will complete visible patrols, respond to incidents, and support store teams and guests with calm, professional communication. This is a driving and armed post requiring a valid driver's license and an armed guard card/license. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to guests and associates while carrying out Allied Universal procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a retail location.
• Carry and maintain assigned firearm and related equipment in accordance with state and local licensing requirements, post orders, and Allied Universal policies; complete required reporting and training.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including disturbances, disorderly conduct, and suspected theft-related activity, while requesting law enforcement and/or medical assistance as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the store, entrances, loading and receiving areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and support loss prevention and security-related operations.
• Observe, document, and report security-related concerns using written reports and/or electronic systems; preserve relevant details and coordinate with site leadership and responding authorities when necessary.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess an Armed Guard Card/License.
• Be 21+ Years of Age.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
