As a Security Officer - Industrial Roving Patrol in Huntley, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol production areas, yards, and entry points while staying highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will complete routine rounds, document observations, respond to alarms and service calls, and communicate clearly with site personnel and visitors. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by following Allied Universal post orders, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of manufacturing and industrial buildings, production areas, parking lots, and perimeter points to help to deter unwanted activity.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials for employees, contractors, and deliveries; assist with visitor sign-in and direct traffic to appropriate locations.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and service calls in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify site leadership and/or public emergency services as needed.
• Complete security-related reports and logs, document unusual conditions or hazards, and communicate shift activities during post and/or shift transitions.

Minimum Requirements:

• A Guard Card/License is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
