TITLE Compensation Specialist JOB SUMMARY Performs advanced professional work in the oversight and administration of the university's compensation program, providing analytical and strategic support to ensure equitable and competitive pay practices across the institution. This position contributes to the development and continuous refinement of compensation initiatives in alignment with organizational goals and workforce strategies, operating under limited supervision and in close collaboration with the Manager of Compensation, who provides final determinations. Performance is evaluated based on outcomes, accuracy, and adherence to University Policies & Procedures. EDUCATION Bachelor's degree in human resources or a related field of study required. PHR/SPHR certification preferred. EXPERIENCE Five years of progressively responsible Human Resources experience preferably in higher education. REQUIREMENT Regular and reliable attendance at the University during regular scheduled days and work hours is an essential function of this position. Supervisors and employees should ensure that injury/accident reports are submitted to the Office of Human Resources and Risk Management within 24 hours of the incident.
