Security Officer - Data Center Patrol

As a Security Officer - Factory Perimeter Patrol in Mesa, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will support access points, respond to alarms and/or unusual activity, and provide clear communication and customer service to employees and visitors. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, contractors, and/or visitors at a manufacturing and industrial location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, warehouses, loading docks, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or potential hazards, and report findings per site requirements.
• Monitor access points and vehicle and/or foot traffic, verify authorization as required, and assist with maintaining visitor, contractor, and delivery logs per post orders.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including alarms, suspicious activity, medical situations, and/or facility disruptions, and notify site contacts and/or public services when needed.
• Complete routine documentation such as patrol reports, incident reports, and shift logs, and communicate observations and follow-up needs to site management and Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
