Overview

NV5 Geospatial is actively recruiting a Licensing & Contracts Administrator. Strong capabilities in managing software licenses, contract renewals, and vendor compliance, ensuring legal and regulatory adherence are required. The Licensing & Contracts Administrator will be based remotely supporting US Southern Command. US citizenship, along with the ability to successfully pass a basic background check for access to US military bases, is required for employment. While no clearance is required, a Secret or higher clearance is preferred.

Work Setting:

    This role offers flexibility in location, with the option to work from any NV5 Regional Office or remotely from home.
  • Potential travel up to 5-15% of the time

Responsibilities

  • Manage software licensing agreements, renewals, and compliance with DFARs, FAR, and applicable cybersecurity mandates.
  • Ensure optimization of service license utilization, coordinating with procurement management to prevent redundancy and cost overruns.
  • Maintain a centralized license utilization register to ensure alignment with procurement ceilings, prevent duplicative purchases, and support budget transparency across an IDIQ portfolio.


Qualifications

Minimum Requriements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Contract Law, Business Management, or four (4) years of equivalent experience in contract administration.
  • Demonstrated expertise in DFARs and FAR processes for software and technology licensing, ensuring compliance with DoD acquisition regulations and intellectual property policies.
  • Demonstrated experience managing enterprise software licenses, tracking renewal cycles, and ensuring vendor compliance with federal procurement requirements.
  • Demonstrated experience with DoD licensing agreements, SaaS procurement, and enterprise contract negotiation.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize complex project tasks.

Preferred:

  • Certified Professional Contracts Manager (CPCM) or IT Asset Management (ITAM) Certification.
  • Portuguese or Spanish language skills.
  • Experience with government IT programs and environments.

Clearance Requirement:

  • None required; Secret or higher preferred.
