I&E Technician

Job Title: I&E Technician (Instrumentation & Electrical)

Location: Childress, TX

Pay: $50/hour + $125/day per diem (7 days/week, if eligible)

Schedule: Project-based (4-6 week rotations)

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Instrumentation & Electrical (I&E) Technician to support industrial projects focused on instrumentation systems, control systems, and electrical infrastructure. This role plays a critical part in ensuring system reliability, performance, and compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support instrumentation systems, including troubleshooting, incident response, and performance analysis
• Ensure real-time system operation through data analysis, technical studies, and process improvements
• Develop and review electrical and instrumentation design packages for low and medium voltage systems
• Lead instrumentation and control design efforts, including control schemes and system architecture
• Review P&IDs, control diagrams, and technical documentation
• Provide technical expertise and guidance on projects, programs, and system improvements
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering and operations teams

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Instrumentation & Control preferred
• 7+ years of experience in instrumentation and control systems
• Strong knowledge of DCS, PLC, and SIS systems
• Experience reading and interpreting P&IDs and control schematics
• Familiarity with ISA, IEC, IEEE, and industry standards
• Background in industrial or data center environments preferred
