POSITION: Financial Analyst

Less than 5% travel across the U.S.
RATE OF PAY: $150,000 - $170,000 per year
Givaudan Flavors Corporation seeks a Financial Analyst to analyze financial and operational performance
for assigned site. Conduct financial analysis to support management in the strategic decision making for the site.
Review and analyze the site trends, costs, revenues, and financial commitments and identify variances versus
budget. Analyze and evaluate monthly KPI's and financial statements and provide management with detailed
reports. Provide financial analysis and analytical support to Americas Region Operations head. Participate in
forecasting and mid-to long term planning for the factory. Provide business support to the local operations
Manager to ensure efficiency and compliance. Provide recommendations on inventory management. Contribute
to annual and periodic requirements of costing activities and analysis of cost of goods (COGS). Review COGS
summary with management. Coordinate changes in master templates with local operations. Provide input into
recipe templates from a costing perspective. Analyze and explain local product margins. Support site
management with the development and analysis of business plans, budgets, forecasts, cost savings
opportunities, etc. Respond to pricing and commercial controlling requests in a timely manner. Less than 5%
travel across the U.S.
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field, or the foreign degree equivalent, and 4
years of experience as a Financial Central Forecaster, Pricing Lead, or alternate acceptable occupation.
Work or academic experience must have included:
1. International experience in the Food & Beverage manufacturing industry.
2. Assigning costs to products for accurate and timely costing (wages, overheads, and freights).
3. Utilizing reporting tools, including SAP and JEDOX for software reporting operations expenditures,
data extraction/consolidation, and financial analysis and budgeting activities.
4. Implementing continuous improvement initiatives by evolving, streamlining, and automating processes,
policies, and procedures in a manufacturing plant environment.
5. Performing interpretive and predictive data analysis in the Food & Beverage international marketplace
to identify key risks and opportunities for enhanced profitability.
6. Collaborating with global accounts to build financial plans, including annual sales and operational
expense budgets.
7. Understanding the impact of changes in costs (raw materials, volume, efficiency/productivity and
overhead initiatives) on the gross margin to support business decisions on pricing and sales.
8. Performing financial consolidation to support management with commercial organization decision
making.
9. Operating in a matrixed environment aligning terminology and processes across sites, management
levels and geographical areas of responsibility.
10. Communicating with shop floor employees to address financial risks and opportunities.
