Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented tester to evaluate the voice interaction performance of our AI-driven virtual assistant. The role focuses on assessing both the acoustic quality of synthesized speech and the accuracy and robustness of the Automatic Speech Recognition (ASR) engine across diverse languages, accents, and real-world noise conditions. The ideal candidate blends a passion for conversational AI with strong coding and analytical skills, with the ability to grasp audio testing methodologies. Responsibilities: * Collaborate closely with other team members within the department. * Conducting testing as per the set standards and procedures * Ensure that the testing is carried out as per the defined standards and procedures * Submit testing results as per procedures. * Edit and proofread translations for grammar, spelling, context, and punctuation * Register detected bugs/issues and follow up with fixes for regressions * Work with a wide range of media and translation software * Summarize information from multiple sources in both English and the target language * Conduct active listening and note-taking to accurately capture spoken information in the target language * Read and comprehend written materials in the target language Requirements: * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience)- highly preferred * 2-4 years of applicable experience * Fluently read, write, and speak English (Korean language ability is a plus) * Understanding of cultural/linguistic nuances and political correctness for respective language/country * Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant linguistic, regional, and cultural trends * Experience in testing web-based systems and applications on computers and mobile devices * Experience working with test scripts and test cases Preferred Qualifications: * Tech savvy - Intermediate-level skills using computers, mobile devices, spreadsheets * Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously * Critical thinker and problem-solving skills * Good time-management skills * Great interpersonal and communication skills * Strong attention to detail, ability to follow instructions, work independently, as well as working on a team * Thrive in a fast-paced environment with short deadlines * Passionate about new technology /Coding/ AI Staffmark talent working with this clientreceive competitivecompensation anda great benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401K, and Paid Time Off, plus more!
