Security Officer - Retail Patrol - Full Time

As a Security Officer - Retail Patrol - Full Time in Wyncote, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy retail mall location, you will monitor and patrol common areas and parking lots, complete routine patrols by vehicle and on foot, and stay visible to help reduce security-related incidents. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver's license under AU Driver Policy requirements. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, shoppers, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout interior common areas, exterior walkways, and parking areas to help to deter unwanted activity and identify hazards or policy violations.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including addressing disturbances, assisting with lost children or property concerns, and coordinating with on-site management and/or law enforcement as needed.
• Monitor entrances, corridors, loading areas, and other high-traffic locations; observe for suspicious behavior; and communicate observations and incident details to supervision and site contacts.
• Complete required reports and logs, including patrol documentation, incident reports, and follow-up notes, using written and/or electronic reporting tools per site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
