Job Description




As a Security Officer - Financial Monitor Driver - Weekdays in Charlotte, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal at a financial institution location where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. As a driving post, you may use a company or personal vehicle to support coverage across the site. You will deliver strong customer service, clear communication, and responsive reporting while working with a team that is agile, reliable, innovative, and always acts with integrity.

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a financial services location.
  • Monitor access points, lobby traffic, and restricted areas, verifying identification and authorizations as required, and documenting entries and exits per site policy.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating notifications and/or assistance in accordance with post orders.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, including perimeter checks, ATM and night depository areas as assigned, and report unusual conditions that may help to deter loss or disruption.
  • Complete timely incident reports, shift logs, and patrol documentation, and communicate observations and next-step recommendations to Allied Universal leadership and/or site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Have 1+ years' law enforcement experience or 2+ years' security supervisor or manager experience or 3+ years' security experience.
  • Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
  • Be at least 21+ years of age.
  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
