This position is designated as a hybrid role based out of our headquarters near Portland, Oregon. The current expectation is for employees to work onsite four days per week, subject to change based on business needs. This in-office requirement may be adjusted at the discretion of the company.
ABOUT THE POSITION Columbia Sportswear's Finance & Accounting teams oversee the financial health and forward-looking strategy for a portfolio of four global brands. These teams bring deep expertise across Compliance, Credit, Financial Planning & Reporting, Tax, Treasury, and Strategy. In addition to advancing core Finance & Accounting capabilities, the organization is driving innovation through the application of advanced analytics and automated intelligence.
As the Senior Financial Analyst for North America Ecommerce, you will provide strategic and financial support to enable effective, efficient, and informed decision-making for our Ecommerce channel. You will drive all aspects of financial planning-including long-range planning, budgeting, and forecasting-and deliver analysis for these divisions, including support for major projects. This role offers broad exposure to the corporate operations of a multinational organization, with opportunities to collaborate closely with cross-functional partners and leaders. - Influence, enable, and coach business partners to support effective, data-driven business decisions.
- Develop and leverage driver-based financial modeling and analysis.
- Lead the development and consolidation of annual budgets and periodic forecasts, including forecast-to-actual variance analysis for the Ecommerce function.
- Actively participate in the development of three-year strategic plans and long-range financial planning initiatives.
- Create accurate, insightful reporting tools, processes, and ad hoc analyses, with an emphasis on clear storytelling, actionable insights, and continuous improvement.
- Develop financial justifications and business cases for key investments, including site capabilities, growth initiatives, and resourcing needs.

- Customer-focused and influential, able to synthesize and emphasize information to guide cross-functional Senior Management decision-making in support of growth and profitability.
YOU HAVE
- A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 5-8 years of experience focused on financial forecasting, budgeting, and analysis, with strong organizational and communication skills.
- Experience in Ecommerce and/or Direct-to-Consumer environments is a plus.
- Advanced problem-solving skills, including the ability to identify financial risks and opportunities, evaluate options, and recommend appropriate actions.
- Demonstrated ability to build effective Excel-based models and professional presentations.
- Experience with visual analytics tools such as Power BI or Tableau; prior experience with enterprise planning systems (e.g., Cognos TM1) is strongly preferred.
