GENERAL DESCRIPTION: The Supervisor, Warehouse & Parts Operations oversees the daily activities of the warehouse and public-facing parts store while ensuring accurate and efficient distribution of parts to internal technicians-both mobile and shop-based. This role supervises warehouse associates and drivers, manages delivery schedules and routes, and ensures a high level of service to internal service teams and retail parts customers. The supervisor performs hands-on tasks, maintains inventory and safety standards, and coordinates workflow to support timely, organized, and customer-focused operations across the facility. The supervisor ensures safe operations, maintains stock accuracy, and partners closely with mobile and shop service teams to meet service level expectations. This position requires hands-on involvement in operational tasks while guiding a small team toward efficiency, safety, and strong customer service. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES: * Oversee and participate in receiving, stocking, picking, packing, staging, and shipping of parts. * Ensure accurate and timely distribution of parts to internal technicians in mobile service units and shop operations. * Prioritize orders according to technician schedules, maintenance urgency, and operational workflow. * Coordinate staging areas for technician pickup, delivery routes, or shop-floor replenishment. * Maintain accurate inventory records through transactions, cycle counts, bin audits, and reconciliations. * Identify and resolve routine fulfillment issues; escalate complex issues to the Warehouse Manager. * Supervise delivery drivers and oversee their daily assignments, performance, and adherence to safety protocols. * Create, update, and optimize daily delivery schedules based on technician needs, delivery windows, and route efficiency. * Manage route planning to ensure timely, cost-effective, and accurate part deliveries across internal and retail customers (if applicable). * Monitor delivery progress, adjust schedules as needed, and ensure timely communication between drivers, warehouse associates, and service teams. * Ensure vehicles and delivery equipment are maintained, safe, and used properly by drivers. * Oversee operations of the public parts store, ensuring a clean, stocked, and customer-ready environment. * Support customer-facing parts sales, including product identification, availability checks, pricing, special orders, returns, and warranty processing. * Maintain proper merchandising, signage, and retail inventory accuracy. * Provide product knowledge and assistance to customers regarding light-, medium-, and heavy-duty vehicle parts. * Supervise warehouse associates, drivers, and retail parts staff, including work assignments, scheduling, and daily task oversight. * Monitors attendance, timekeeping, and shift-level performance. * Acts as the first escalation point for routine issues. * Executes policies and procedures. * Provide coaching, real-time feedback, and support to ensure performance standards and service expectations are met. * Train employees in warehouse operations, delivery processes, safety procedures, system usage, and customer interaction protocols. * Promote teamwork, consistency, and continuous improvement. * Enforce OSHA and company safety standards in warehouse, route, and retail operations. * Ensure safe operation of forklifts, pallet jacks, delivery vehicles, and other equipment. * Maintain clean, well-organized work and customer areas; monitor for and report safety hazards. * Assist with process improvements, new initiatives, reporting needs, and data audits. * Support peak operational periods by performing hands-on tasks in the warehouse, retail store, or delivery functions. * Assists with other duties and special projects as assigned Leadership & Organizational Development: * Working knowledge of vehicle, trailer, and equipment parts across light-, medium-, and heavy-duty categories. * Understanding of warehouse operations, receiving, stocking, fulfillment, and delivery processes. * Ability to schedule deliveries, plan efficient routes, and supervise drivers. * Strong interpersonal and customer service skills for internal technicians and retail customers. * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities. * Proficiency with inventory and parts management systems (Karmak DMS experience a plus). * Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Education * High School Diploma or equivalent and 5 years' experience in a related field. The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as a Bachelors degree and 3 years' experience; a Masters and 1 years' experience in a related field. Experience * 5 years' experience in warehouse, maintenance coordination, technician dispatching, or Diesel technology or similar capacity Technician role * Proven ability to deliver high levels of customer service and communication capabilities with key stakeholders * Excellent oral and written communication is mandatory Knowledge/Skills/Abilities * Some Excel and data entry skills, and the ability to learn new platforms, and proficient use of Word and PowerPoint * Leadership skills including demonstrated ability to coach by providing feedback to help others strengthen specific knowledge/skill areas needed to accomplish assigned tasks or solve a problem, motivate and provide guidance to others to ensure performance in accordance with clear expectations and goals * Understanding of the Light, Medium and Heavy-Duty vehicles and power, trailer, and body parts business * Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills with a track record to collaborate cross-functionally, build positive relationships and become a trusted partner to relevant cross functional partners * Good communication skills and ability to effectively interact and collaborate with all levels within the organization * Great organizational skills with exceptional follow-through and analytical skills such as ability to gather raw data and to process that data into a meaningful form * Ability to work effectively in a face paced environment, under pressure, and able to shift priorities quickly to adapt to rapidly changing environments * Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment and with all levels in the organization * Excellent problem solving and prioritization skills with strong attention to detail * Proven ability to work with minimal direction, as well as be resourceful and independent in solving problems Preferred Qualifications * Prior experience within the automotive industry * Experience in Karmak DMS system * Prior experience in mobile and shop service operations in a Fleet Services environment KEY CUSTOMER INTERFACES: Fleet Companies, parts vendors, internal customers, boundary partners USD 67,200.00 - 100,800.00 per year Compensation: Compensation includes a base salary of $67,200.00 - $100,800.00. The base salary may vary within the anticipated base pay range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include an incentive program. Benefits: The Company offers eligible employees the flexibility to take as much vacation with pay as they deem consistent with their duties, the company's needs, and its obligations; seven paid holidays throughout the calendar year; and up to 160 hours of paid wellness annually for their own wellness or that of family members.
