Compensation: We offer our employees a competitive compensation and benefits package that reflects our organizational culture, mission, and core values. The salary range for this position is $86,507.00 to $91,484.10 and may be commensurate with experience. Position Description: The Content & Social Media Manager is responsible for leading the development, organization, and execution of SOME's social media and internal communications with a strong focus on creativity, consistency, and long-term planning. This role combines strategic storytelling with strong project management to build and sustain a cohesive communications framework that supports both internal alignment and external engagement. The Content & Social Media Manager oversees year-round content planning, manages social media platforms, and coordinates internal communications by aligning messaging, timelines, and workflows across departments. This position plays a critical role in strengthening SOME's communications infrastructure, ensuring content is thoughtful, well-organized, and aligned with organizational priorities. Working closely with the Marketing & Communications team, Development, Programs, Human Resources, and Executive Leadership, this role helps move the organization from reactive messaging to a more proactive, intentional, and strategic communications approach that reflects SOME's mission and values. This role is a mid-level manager. Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 4:30 pm (40 hours per week); some evenings and weekends, holidays. Hybrid schedule (i.e., will require 2-3 in-office days) Required: Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field; 3-5 years of experience in social media, content strategy, or communications. Preferred: Experience working in a nonprofit or mission-driven organization. Experience building or managing content systems or calendars across an organization.
