From optimizing accounting processes to enhancing the use of financial systems and data, the team helps companies scale efficiently and unlock measurable value. By combining deep finance operations expertise with technologyenabled solutions and handson implementation, the group improves cash flow, strengthens controls, and drives sustainable profitability-delivering results aligned to each valuecreation thesis. What You Will Do: Lead endtoend delivery of valuecreation engagements for private equity clients, overseeing daytoday execution, managing risks and dependencies, and ensuring outcomes drive measurable financial and operational improvements Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, managing expectations, facilitating clear communication, and providing trusted insight and guidance Independently lead multiple workstreams or full engagements, conducting process interviews, currentstate assessments, gap analyses, and designing pragmatic, futurestate solutions aligned to private equity priorities Translate strategic objectives into actionable workplans, applying deep expertise across procuretopay (P2P), ordertocash (O2C), and closetoreport (C2R/R2R) processes, accounting operations, and technologyenabled workflow optimization Evaluate and optimize financial systems and tools (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics, Sage) to enhance automation, controls, scalability, and data integrity across finance operations Leverage financial reporting and accounting policy expertise to design and implement practical processes and internal controls Support client finance teams in adopting best practices for policy adherence, workflow discipline, and crossfunctional collaboration Oversee financial and operational analysis, including Excelbased modeling, KPI development, and valuecapture assessments Develop and refine financial forecasts, budgets, and longrange models to support investment thesis execution and decisionmaking Execute and enhance monthend close processes, including cashtoaccrual and GAAP conversions for newly acquired or transitioning entities. Build and standardize financial reporting packages, including boardready monthly reporting, KPIs, and forecasting tools Prepare and deliver management and lenderfocused reporting, including technology assessments, operating insights, and futurestate roadmaps Ensure quality, accuracy, and consistency of all client deliverables, including process documentation, analyses, dashboards, recommendations, and operating models Develop and mentor team members through coaching, feedback, and technical guidance to strengthen consulting capabilities and subjectmatter expertise Contribute to practice development by creating and refining methodologies, templates, diagnostics, and internal tools that improve delivery efficiency and consistency Support business development efforts by contributing to proposals, participating in client discussions, and identifying opportunities to expand services across portfolio companies Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree 4+ years of relevant experience in public accounting or industry Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Preferred Qualifications: Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business CPA License Prior consulting experience Experience with ERP systems #LI-ATL, #LI-OAK, #LI-CHI, #LI-CLTSP, #LI-NYC, #LI-DFW #LI-CH2 New York City Pay Transparency Pursuant to the pay transparency laws of New York State and other local ordinances within the state including (but not limited to) New York City, the salary range displayed is for the New York markets. The salary for this role will be based on the experience, education, and skill set of the individual for the position. Total compensation and benefits consist of salary, group health plan benefits, 401(K), profit-sharing contributions, flexible time off, and parental leave. New York Salary Range: NY Minimum Salary (USD) $ 107,600 NY Maximum Salary (USD) $ 179,300 Illinois Wage Transparency Pursuant to Illinois' Equal Pay Act, the salary range displayed is for the Illinois market. The salary for this role will be based on the experience, education, and skill set of the individual for the position. Non-exempt/hourly positions will be eligible for time and half pay for employees that work over 40 hours in a workweek.
