Accounts Receivable Rep (Full-time, Pharmacy)

Scheduled Weekly Hours:

Gundersen Health System is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive individual to join our team in a vital role focused on ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our pharmacy billing processes. In this position, you will manage the follow-up and collection of accounts receivable primarily from 3rd party insurance and patients in a pharmacy billing environment. Work and collaborate with pharmacy leadership to maintain and insure proper use of charge accounts amongst our Outpatient and Long Term Care Pharmacies. Additionally, you will take the lead in investigating, initiating, and resolving billing questions, playing a crucial part in our commitment to delivering exceptional service and support. What's Available:

• Full-time, 40 hours/week

• $18.63/hour starting pay + more for experience!

• Monday - Friday, shifts between 8:00am - 5:00pm

• Location: La Crosse, Cass Street Pharmacy

What You Need:

• High School Diploma or equivalency

• Successful completion of defined core competency testing for Accounts Receivable Representatives.

• 1 year work experience, preferably working in a medical facility, insurance company or office setting.

• Previous experience in a pharmacy or accounts receivable role desired

• Self-motivated, resourceful, and strong organization skills

• Microsoft office suite proficiency is a plus!
