Group/Division

The SensArray division is the world leading provider of in situ processing measurement and control solutions for the semiconductor industry. The company provides measurement and control solutions to both semiconductor fabs and mask shops to ensure that yields are consistently high thus enabling cost-effective manufacturing SensArray business unit is dedicate to support customer R&D phase as well as HVM with in-situ thermal process control. SensArray business unit enable APC (Automated Process Control) to improve process optimization and yield improvement.

Job Description/Preferred Qualifications

Are you energized by solving complex design challenges and bringing nextgeneration hardware to life? Join our team as an Electronic Design Engineer, where you'll play a pivotal role in developing innovative electronics for advanced packaging technologies. You'll partner closely with crossfunctional teams, influence product direction, and see your designs scale into highvolume manufacturing environments across the semiconductor industry. This is an opportunity to work on cuttingedge systems, contribute to NPI initiatives, and support products that power critical technologies worldwide.

Job Duties, but not limited to:

  • Select, evaluate, and characterize the electronic components that form the backbone of our products.
  • Lead electronics subsystem design activities-from schematic capture to PCB layout to handson prototyping.
  • Dive deep into circuit debugging, diagnostics, and rootcause analysis.
  • Develop diagnostic scripts that elevate PCA qualification and performance validation.
  • Drive seamless system and subsystem integration with partner teams.
  • Execute rigorous subsystem qualification testing to ensure reliability and robustness.
  • Collaborate with Manufacturing and Operations to transition designs smoothly into highvolume production.

Job Qualifications:

  • Industry experience in boardlevel circuit design.
  • Strong understanding of electronic components and their behaviors.
  • Proficiency with schematic capture and circuit simulation tools (e.g., SPICE).
  • Handson lab experience (oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, signal generators, etc.).
  • Solid foundation in RF and analog circuit design principles.
  • Experience with scripting or programming for test automation.

Minimum Qualifications

Master's Level Degree and related work experience of 3 years; Bachelor's Level Degree and related work experience of 5 years

Base Pay Range: $106,700.00 - $181,400.00 Annually Primary Location: USA-CA-Milpitas-KLA KLA's total rewards package for employees may also include participation in performance incentive programs and eligibility for additional benefits including but not limited to: medical, dental, vision, life, and other voluntary benefits, 401(K) including company matching, employee stock purchase program (ESPP), student debt assistance, tuition reimbursement program, development and career growth opportunities and programs, financial planning benefits, wellness benefits including an employee assistance program (EAP), paid time off and paid company holidays, and family care and bonding leave.
