Moog's Corporate Group is seeking a Senior IT Asset Management Analyst!

In this role, you will serve as the subject matter expert for Moog's ServiceNow SAM Pro product, providing best practices, and communicating how to drive value and optimize usage. You will present this information with confidence and professionalism to employees at all levels, including the Chief Information Officer and other executive stakeholders.

While this role is considered fully remote, the incumbent must live in the United States and be willing to travel to our Corporate Headquarters, in East Aurora, NY (a suburb of Buffalo), on a quarterly basis.

To qualify for the Senior IT Asset Management Analyst here is what we would expect you to bring to Moog...

  • Typically, a bachelor's degree in computer science, MIS, related field, or related experience

  • Over six (6) years of experience in IT Asset Management or related disciplines.

  • Strong knowledge of ITAM and ITSM platforms.

  • Experience using ServiceNow's SAM Pro module

  • Experience reviewing software license agreements and IT contracts.

  • Understanding of software licensing models (on-prem, cloud, SaaS) and compliance regulations.

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills; demonstrated competence communicating with all levels of the organization

It would also be beneficial if you had:

  • Relevant certifications (ITAM, ITIL v4, ISO 19770).

  • Experience with cloud licensing and SaaS management.

  • Familiarity with FinOps principles.

  • Experience with Scaled Agile Framework methodology.

As the IT Asset Management Analyst, you will...

  • Define and maintain policies, processes, and standards for IT asset lifecycle management (software and hardware).

  • Serve as the subject matter expert for ServiceNow SAM Pro and HAM modules.

  • Develop and maintain accurate asset inventories using ITAM and ITSM tools and ITIL best practices, to ensure a single source of truth for IT assets.

  • Manage day-to-day licensing operations for major software publishers, including Microsoft, SAP, Adobe, IBM, and Oracle.

  • Monitor and report on major software license agreements, subscriptions, and renewals to ensure compliance and cost optimization.

  • Engage with cross-functional teams including procurement, finance, and IT teams, as well as external partners, to drive favorable software renewal results.

  • Capture and present financial data related to large IT purchases and renewals to leadership through fiscal storytelling.

  • Manage external software publisher audits from initiation to close.

  • Support software and platform implementations as a project coordinator, engaging stakeholders across all phases.

  • Drive automation and process efficiency using ITSM platforms.

  • Conduct data analysis and discovery to capture software usage data and licensing requirements aligned with business needs.

  • Negotiate large, complex IT contracts with major publishers.

  • Participate in acquisition and divestiture activities related to software portfolios.

  • Oversee hardware asset lifecycle processes, including procurement, deployment, and disposal, ensuring compliance and cost efficiency.

Salary Range Transparency:

Buffalo, NY $100,000.00-$130,000.00 Annually

The base salary range represents the low and high end of the Moog salary range for this position in the given work location. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range(s) listed is just one component of Moog's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, employee stock purchase plan, an open paid time off policy, and many region-specific benefits.
