Aquent is seeking a Senior Content Operations Editor to support the transformation of a large-scale employment content portfolio. This role focuses on restructuring long-form, unstructured content into reusable, metadata-rich components that support scalable, AI-enabled employee experiences. This is a hands-on, execution-focused role ideal for an editor with strong content operations experience who enjoys working directly in content management systems, applying taxonomy and structure, and maintaining high editorial standards across complex content libraries. **As a key contributor, you will:** * Lead content structure transformation, converting segments of the content portfolio from single-use formats to a reusable "headless" content structure, breaking down long-form content into structured components, and managing migration from multiple sources.
* Champion metadata framework reuse, adhering to and promoting our content taxonomy to enhance discovery and reusability through appropriate tagging and description.
* Identify and implement opportunities for content reuse, significantly reducing the manual effort required to maintain duplicate information.
* Manage global content updates, responding to customer requests to create and update content within our content management system, ensuring compliance with process and policy changes, defined SLAs, and delivery timelines.
* Perform comprehensive content editing and proofreading, reviewing articles, policies, assets, and content fragments for grammar, spelling, accuracy, clarity, consistency, and adherence to style guidelines.
* Conduct quality control, auditing and monitoring existing content, and analyzing data to maintain the highest standards of quality and consistency across all content. This role offers a unique chance to invent and simplify complex content challenges, deliver tangible results, and operate with a strong bias for action. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, contributing directly to the success of a global enterprise by enhancing how information is managed and consumed. **Must-Have Qualifications:** * 2+ years of professional content management experience in enterprise-level systems (e.g., those similar to leading platforms like Adobe Experience Manager, Contentful or WordPress).
* 2+ years of project management experience.
* Experience working with reusable or "headless content."
* Advanced English language skills with full proficiency in grammar, spelling, and punctuation (minimum C1). **Nice-to-Have Qualifications:** * Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Technical Writing, or a related field.
* Excellent writing and editing skills.
* Content operations experience managing content for AI applications.
* Real-world experience with information architecture and content models.
* High attention to detail and adherence to style guidelines.
* Demonstrated success learning and explaining business processes.
* Proven knowledge of SEO principles.
* Good judgment and open, proactive communication.
* Ability to prioritize and manage multiple stakeholder needs in a fast-paced environment.
* Work experience in a global and cross-functional team environment.
* Experience with content metrics and analysis.
* Experience with or exposure to large-scale enterprise business processes.
