Description Mechanical Designer - San Antonio, TX Halff has an immediate opening for a Mechanical Designer supporting our Mechanical Engineering department in San Antonio, Houston, Austin, McAllen, TX . The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience with HVAC air and hydronic concepts and must be capable of performing routine calculations, equipment layout, basic equipment under supervision of senior staff. What you will do: Basic design and layout of HVAC air and hydronic systems Set-up drawing sheets in REVIT, develop equipment schedules, and run basic calculations Assisting in estimated project construction cost and specification writing What you will need: Minimum 2 years experience designing HVAC and hydronic systems Experience with Trane Trace 3D Must have experience with Revit experience Associates Degree in related field is required; Bachelor's degree is a plus Working knowledge of IMC and other related codes The Halff MEP Engineering Advantage Our professionals aim to design buildings that use less energy, generate less waste and cost less to maintain.
