This position is responsible for the centralized strategic direction and oversight of the Tax Compliance & Audit ("TCA") team implementing the organization's tax strategy to optimize the amount of tax the company pays and ensure it complies with all relevant U.S. and state income tax laws and regulations. The Managing Director will lead the Company's U.S. direct tax compliance processes including managing associated audits undertaken by various tax authorities. Essential Functions
Minimum Education Bachelor's degree in accounting required, Master of Taxation preferred Minimum Experience Eight (8) years of large U.S. corporate income tax experience (Federal, state, international). CPA certification preferred, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Strong software skills, including use of Microsoft Office software and web-based applications. Excellent verbal and written communication skills necessary to explain complex information and to communicate with all levels of management and external vendors. Exceptional presentation skills necessary to facilitate training and/or deliver informational sessions to groups and/or individuals. Demonstrated drive for achieving results. Time management and organizational skills necessary to manage multiple projects, appropriately prioritize workload, plan for resources to meet deadlines and goals, and respond to day-to-day functional needs. Ability to anticipate and identify problems and use sound judgment and fact-based analysis to develop effective and efficient solutions. Ability to inspire a shared vision and empower and motivate a team. Ability to build collaborative working relationships with internal and external customers and meet time sensitive deadlines.
