The Role:

The Director, Marketing supports and shares accountability for marketing the Providence family of brands across assigned markets. Working closely with the AVP Marketing (Divisional CMO), this leader ensures the achievement of brand health metrics and marketing objectives. The role provides oversight of marketing campaigns, ensures alignment with brand guidelines, and drives standardization across deliverables and gotomarket processes.

The Director leads the development, implementation, and measurement of integrated marketing campaigns, setting clear goals and collaborating with creative services, digital teams, PR/communications, media, research, and social teams to bring initiatives to life. As a key strategic partner and relationshipbuilder, the Director plays an essential role in shaping marketing strategy, nurturing stakeholder relationships, and driving daytoday execution.

What You'll Do:



  • Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies aligned with organizational and servicearea priorities.
  • Partner with leadership, strategy, and business development teams to ensure marketing plans reflect business needs and growth goals.
  • Maintain and strengthen key stakeholder relationships; represent marketing in strategic and operational discussions.
  • Monitor market dynamics, customer journey insights, competitive trends, and environmental factors to inform proactive marketing recommendations.
  • Steward brand identity, positioning, and messaging across channels to ensure alignment and consistency.
  • Design and oversee multichannel campaigns (paid media, SEO, SEM, social, CRM, web) in collaboration with functional experts.
  • Monitor campaign performance, optimize based on KPIs and ROI, and ensure budget, timeline, and resource alignment.
  • Oversee execution of marketing initiatives across multiple lines of business and distribution channels.
  • Partner with research teams to understand and improve brand awareness and perception across markets.
  • Collaborate with creative teams and external vendors to deliver highimpact marketing assets.
  • Use data and analytics to guide insights, decisions, and marketing effectiveness improvements.
  • Ensure cohesive execution by working closely with strategy, operations, communications, and functional marketing teams.
  • Recruit, mentor, and manage a team of marketing professionals; provide coaching, training, and development.
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and ethical standards in all marketing activities.


What You'll Bring:



  • Education
  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communication, Business, or related field; or equivalent education/experience
  • Experience
  • 7+ years in a marketing role, with emphasis on strategy development and campaign execution
  • Healthcare industry experience (preferred)
  • Track record of applying brand, marketing, communications, and public relations principles
  • Skills & Competencies
  • Strong ability to consult with marketing professionals and provide clear, consistent direction
  • Advanced skill in translating data, insights, and metrics into strategic action
  • Strong leadership, teamwork, and peopledevelopment capabilities
  • Excellent strategic thinking, planning, and projectmanagement skills
  • Ability to manage both internal and external creative resources effectively
  • Outstanding analytical and problemsolving abilities
  • Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation communication skills
  • Skilled at listening and responding to consumer research and market insights
  • Highly organized, methodical, and able to manage multiple tasks under pressure
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, PowerBI, Tableau, AI tools, and Media Mix Modeling
  • Ability to travel occasionally

Therefore, leaders applying for this role will be required to work a hybrid schedule, which consists of three days onsite, two days remote and live within a reasonable commuting distance to the ministry or service area they support and lead.
