As a Security Officer - Retail Galleria Patrol Driver in Marina Del Rey, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a busy retail location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay visible to help deter security-related incidents. This is a driving post, so you will use a company-approved vehicle to cover wider areas and respond to concerns. Bring strong customer service and communication skills as you support a caring, agile team that acts with integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, tenants, and shoppers by following site-specific procedures, access guidelines, and customer assistance protocols at a retail location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including disturbances, medical situations, and fire or alarm activations, and notify appropriate parties as required.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols of common areas, storefront corridors, loading or receiving areas, and exterior perimeters to help to deter unwanted activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor entrances, interior activity, and exterior areas for unusual conditions, document observations, and complete reports such as incident, patrol, and daily activity logs.
• Assist with crowd management during peak shopping periods and special events, provide directions and information, and coordinate with property management and local responders when needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A minimum of 6 months of security experience is required.
• Proof of high school diploma or GED is required per client requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
