What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate updates to site leadership and/or Allied Universal management as needed.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of the facility, warehouse areas, parking lots, dock doors, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify hazards or suspicious conditions.
• Control access by monitoring entry and exit points, verifying identification and/or delivery documentation, and directing drivers and visitors to the appropriate areas based on site procedures.
• Complete detailed reports of patrols, incidents, and unusual observations, and maintain required logs for shift activity, key control, and access events.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access Control/Badge Experience is preferred.
• A Guard Card/License is preferred.
• Customer Service Experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
