Torch Technologies is seeking a Subject Matter Expert in the areas of Human Factors Design, Test, and Analysis to support the user assessments on existing and future DoW platforms and systems.

As a Human Factors SME, your duties will include the following, but are not limited to:

• The selected candidate will lead a multidisciplinary team, work with human users, and develop analysis, reports, and recommendations to support requirements and Technical, Tactics, and Practices development.
• The selected candidate will work with government leads and project office representatives to define assessment objectives, develop approaches, and collect data in accordance with all human safety and test regulations and requirements.
• Leads and conducts studies in human/machine interaction, equipment/facilities design, environmental design, and human performance assessment.
• Responsible for finalizing project deliverables and writing of technical reports.
• Designs experiments and usability testing, oversees data collection and analysis of behavioral data.
• Participates in overall project management.
• Participate in staff development/selection.
• Provide work leadership for lower level employees.

Job Requirements / Experience:

• US Citizenship.
• Master's Degree in Computer Science, or a related field or equivalent experience. A Bachelor's Degree with 8+ years experience in same disciplines.
• 10+ years experience developing and analyzing Human Machine Interfaces.
• 20+ years working on the development and analysis of DoD Trainers and/or User Interfaces is preferred.
• Knowledge of human cognition, including serial and parallel processing, visual perception, attention allocation, and reaction time.
