As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help discourage security-related incidents. You will document observations, communicate clearly with site contacts and responding partners, and deliver customer service with professionalism. You will be part of an agile, reliable, and innovative team that puts people first and acts with integrity.

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to personnel, drivers, and visitors by carrying out Allied Universal post orders, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of warehouses, loading docks, trailer yards, parking areas, and perimeter fencing, noting unusual activity and submitting reports per procedure.
  • Monitor access control points by verifying identification, managing visitor and contractor entry, and directing inbound and outbound traffic flow for deliveries and pickups as required by site policy.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with de-escalation, notifications, and coordination with on-site management and local responders when needed.
  • Complete shift documentation such as patrol logs, incident reports, and daily activity reports, and communicate security-related concerns during shift changes and/or via established communication channels.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Have at least 1+ years of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
  • Be at least 21+ years of age.
  • Provide proof of a high school diploma and/or GED as required by the client.
  • A guard card and/or license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
