SUMMARY: The Leave of Absence Administrator is responsible for managing and administering employee leave programs across the organization. This role ensures compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as internal policies, while providing compassionate and efficient support to employees navigating leave situations. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: This class specification lists the major duties and requirements of the job and is not all-inclusive. Incumbent(s) may be expected to perform job-related duties other than those contained in this document and may be required to have specific job-related knowledge and skills.
QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field (or a combination of equivalent experience). 2+ years of experience in leave administration, HR operations, or employee relations. Strong knowledge of FMLA, ADA, and other relevant employment laws. Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism. Required Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations: Continued employment is contingent upon all required licenses and certificates being maintained in active status without suspension or revocation.
