Overview

Apogee has an exciting new opportunity for a Logistics Specialist in support of the Special Operations Forces Acquisition, Technology and Logistics (SOF AT&L) Program Executive Office for Maritime (PEO-M). The premier SOF acquirers in PEO Maritime are committed to delivering the highest quality technologically advanced combat diving equipment, surface systems, and undersea platforms globally to Naval Special Warfare operators.

This is a full-time opportunity located at MacDill AFB, FL.



Responsibilities

    Manage and improve inventory control processes for all property received, shipped, transferred, stored, or disposed.
  • Establish and maintain property accountability systems in accordance with government regulations and industry best practices.
  • Serve as primary point of contact for end-to-end shipment coordination, including material handling, shipping, receiving, and storage.
  • Develop logistics strategies, plans, documentation, and reports to support armament systems and associated equipment across the lifecycle.
  • Support logistics-related acquisition activities, including product support strategies, RFP development, data requirements, and contract logistics provisions.
  • Perform supportability analyses (manpower, supply support, facilities, packaging, support equipment, and technical data) to optimize life-cycle sustainment.
  • Generate and review logistics and technical documentation (e.g., ILSPs, LCSPs, TOs, TMs, ETMs, IPBs) to ensure compliance with government logistics support requirements.


Qualifications

Minimum Experience:

Citizenship: Must be a US citizen
Clearance: Must possess and maintain a Secret clearance
Certifications: DAWIA Advanced Equivalency IAW the PWS (DAWIA level III equivalent), and in the Life Cycle Logistics, Program Management fields
Education: Bachelor's degree in logistics, acquisitions, business or relevant discipline
Years of Experience: Minimum of 10 year logistics experience, including:

  • Working knowledge of the Defense Acquisition Framework process
  • Experience with configuration management, safety requirements, environmental, and HAZMAT requirements
  • Experience with reliability calculations and reliability growth

  • Knowledge of provisioning and sparing processes

Preferred Qualifications:
Additional Experience:

  • Extensive experience with logistics management involving Maritime combatant craft highly desired
