This position will provide full support to CHW's HR team and have an active role in enhancing the employee experience by achieving our People Operations goals. The objective of this role is to provide an opportunity for an individual to deepen their growth and development in the Human Resources profession through hands-on experience and exposure to various HR functions. The HR Coordinator reports to the Sr HR Generalist.
Role & Responsibilities:

  • Supports the Sr HR Generalist with onboarding and offboarding.
  • Responsible for maintaining organizational safety and compliance, reporting, and addressing unsafe conditions.
  • Deploy and follow up on New Hires 30/60/90 Feedback, supporting managers in meeting with and reviewing new hires' feedback.
  • Process timecards and ensure accurate record-keeping across the organization and for payroll.
  • Manages staff birthday and years of service awards.
  • Maintain job descriptions within SharePoint and HRIS.
  • Coordinate, manage, and execute staff engagement events (employee appreciation, winter and summer events, CHW Day) and quarterly all-staff meetings, including logistics.
  • Organize training sessions and seminars as directed by the Sr HR Generalist or the VP of People and Culture.
  • Manage personnel files and the HR filing system according to legal guidelines and requested directions.
  • Master HRIS reporting tools to create, compile and manage HR reports as requested by Sr HR Generalist or VP of People & Culture.
  • Maintains accurate and up-to-date systems with staff information (Compease, PI, LMS, compliance poster, Calm, NPS, etc.).
  • Support and assist staff with questions, concerns, or feedback.
  • Supports the VP of People and Culture as needed and requested.
  • Provide coverage for the AA's responsibilities while on RTO.
  • Maintain, support, and protect HR's data and reporting needs as required and requested.
  • Mange all aspects of CHW new hire merchandise, and business cards, for a new hire's first day.
  • Ensure professional, timely, and well-written staff communication organization wide.
  • Assist with and perform additional duties as assigned, trained, and qualified to do, based on the assessment by the position's reporting manager.


Education and Experience:


  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in the HR profession.
  • Certification of SHRM-CP or PHR preferred, BA with a preferred focus on Human Resources.
  • Strong time management Skills.
  • Strong attention to detail to support the high level of data entry.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as a team.

It may vary based on skills, experience and qualifications:
$30.00 - $32.50
