As an Allied Universal Security Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will support access control by verifying badges, welcoming visitors, and helping manage entry and exit points. You will conduct routine patrols, stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and document activity using a computer and/or tablet. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by following site-specific access control procedures, verifying identification, and directing individuals to the appropriate check-in locations.
• Monitor entry and exit points for the industrial location, help to deter unauthorized access, and document access activity per post orders.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including initiating notifications and supporting emergency response activities as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility, production areas as permitted, and perimeter, reporting maintenance concerns, hazards, and unusual activity through established channels.
• Complete required logs and reports, communicate security-related information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership, and support badge issuance and/or visitor management processes as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
