As a Security Officer - Main Lobby Desk in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education, and more. Join Allied Universal at a busy education location as a Front Desk Officer, where you will be the welcoming first point of contact for students, staff, and visitors. You will manage access control, verify credentials, issue badges, answer phones, monitor cameras and alarm panels, document incidents, and communicate concerns to site leadership. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to students, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a campus front desk location.
• Control access by greeting and verifying visitors, issuing temporary credentials when applicable, maintaining visitor logs, and directing individuals to appropriate campus contacts and/or departments.
• Monitor cameras, alarms, and front desk communication channels, reporting irregular activity and/or maintenance concerns in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating notifications to campus leadership and/or emergency services as directed by post orders.
• Complete shift documentation such as incident reports, access logs, and activity notes, and communicate pertinent information to incoming personnel and Allied Universal management.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
