Join Our Team
H.B. Fuller is seeking a skilled Master Mechanic to ensure the reliable operation of building systems and equipment across our Willow Lake Campus. This role performs advanced maintenance, troubleshooting, and system optimization to support a safe and efficient environment. The position works both independently and collaboratively and participates in an oncall rotation.

Core Daily Functions

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on HVACR, boilers, chillers, cooling towers, electrical, plumbing, and control systems.

• Monitor and adjust systems through the Building Management System (Metasys).

• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and process equipment issues.

• Use diagnostic tools and system data to resolve performance problems.

• Support safety procedures and maintain organized, compliant workspaces.

• Coordinate with external contractors and assist with project execution.

• Identify facility improvement needs and support bid solicitation.

• Lead small projects, ensuring timelines, resources, and deliverables are met.

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.

• 8+ years handson maintenance experience, including 5+ in corporate or lab environments.

• Experience with VFDs, MCCs, BMS systems, and closedloop water systems.

• Ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical blueprints.

• Ability to participate in a rotating oncall schedule.

• MN State 1st Class C Boiler License (or ability to obtain)

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate's degree or technical training in building systems

• Experience with JCI Metasys and lab hood systems.

• MN Class C Chief Boiler License

• OSHA safety training and data center HVACR experience

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, and geographic location.
