Job Scope -

At Diasorin, ourten-week (June 1-August 7th, on-site) paid internship program offers hands on experience that correlates with your degree focus. You will contribute by delivering key tasks and projects that provide to our broader mission of the organization, and how we have an impact on patients' lives. As an Intern of Diasorin, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with fellow interns, and employees through variousonsiteandoffsiteactivities! You will also be able to gain industry knowledge that will aid in your professional development, while showcasing your learnings and accomplishments to Senior leaders and fellow colleagues.

Department Overview

Diasorin can market our products all around the world because we meet stringent quality and regulatory requirements. Our products are regulated in almost every country, so we are obligated to ensure that our quality system meets requirements for areas like training, change control, document control, supplier monitoring, recalls/vigilance, post-market surveillance, risk management, representing the department on product development teams, CAPA and Non-conformance reporting. We could not market our devices without a solid quality system that serves our customers and patients well!

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Project Management Intern to support the Diasorin Project Management Organization (PMO). The PMO Intern will help lead project teams, plan and coordinate projects, update tools and templates, and assist with portfolio and resource planning activities. The PMO Intern will gain exposure to crossfunctional work across Operations, Engineering, Quality, Regulatory, and Product Development while learning how projects are managed in a regulated medical diagnostics environment.

Responsibilities




  • Portfolio & Resource Planning


    • Support project intake and prioritization activities
    • Help maintain project/resource data using Project/Portfolio Management (PPM) software


  • Project Management


    • Support members of the PMO team by providing hands-on help leading project teams and coordinating efforts to drive on-time delivery of project deliverables.
    • Assist PMO team members with day-to-day project management activities including risk management and issue tracking
    • Prepare project status reports and materials for presentation to key stakeholders, leadership, and/or steering committee members
    • Participate in project planning activities


  • PMO Toolkit & Process Improvement


    • Audit and organize PMO templates and guidance (e.g., stage gates, charters, status update templates), propose usability improvements, and refresh SharePoint pages.




Education, Experience, and Qualifications



  • Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Biology, Biomedical Engineering, Business, Engineering, or related fields
  • Currently enrolled in a University or College Program that is accredited. Recent graduates may be considered.
  • Must be enrolled in or have completed courses related to field of interest.



Preferred skills



  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 (Excel/PowerPoint/Teams/SharePoint)
  • Familiarity with project management tools (e.g Microsoft Project, Microsoft Planner or PPM software)
  • Able to effectively communicate, verbally and written, scientific, technical, and business content
  • Effective problem solving and decision-making capabilities
  • Ability to lead, manage people, and drive clarity in uncertain environments
  • Self-motivated and excited to embrace new challenges, get up to speed quickly, and develop new skills

What we offer: Salary Range
The hourly posting for this position is$20.00 Hourly. The salary range for this role represents the numerous factors considered in the hiring decisions including, but not limited to, educations, skills, work experience, certifications, etc. Beyond base salary, Diasorin offers a competitive rewards package focused on your overall well-being.
