Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation to provide, delegate, supervise and document care and teaching of patients and family. Effectively communicates with the health care team. Demonstrates clinical competence. May require a professional certification which is a regulatory requirement in the State of Michigan or a documented community standard for the position, works independently and in collaboration with principal investigator. * Benefits: Full time benefit package
* Position: 40 hours per week (8 hours 5 days a week-No weekends No Holidays) * Shift: Day Shifts -Shift start and end time on rotation and on an "as needed" basis for the clinic schedule which is 8-430pm/830-5pm EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Graduate from an accredited school of nursing. Bachelor's degree preferred. Successful completion of HFMG Pharmacology test. Certification will be required when it is a regulatory requirement in the State of Michigan or a documented community standard. Maintains and demonstrates current clinical knowledge & Experience in area of Cardiology. Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities necessary to formulate effective nursing care plans. Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services. Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and medical group personnel. Basic computer knowledge and keyboarding skills. Strong nursing assessment skills Knowledge of electrophysiology and cardiac procedures Experience in interpreting EKGs IV skills for IV insertions Experience with triaging patients over the phone Teamwork minded. Positive attitude CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURES REQUIRED: Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing as a Registered Nurse. Current BLS and ACLS required. Additional Information
