Mead & Hunt, an award-winning national architecture and engineering firm, has continued to exceed our strategic growth initiatives creating opportunity for our current and prospective team members. As a result, a full-time position is available for a Marketing Coordinator to join our Architecture & Building Engineering group. This exciting opportunity is available at the following office locations: Middleton, WI (greater Madison area); Denver, CO; Milwaukee, WI; Dallas, TX; Lexington, SC; Chicago, IL; Seattle, WA; Portland, OR; and San Diego, CA.

Responsibilities include:

  • Leading the proposal development process, including go/no-go and proposal kickoff meetings, content creation, strategic input on project and team selection, layout and design, and close-out/archiving
  • Leading interview preparation
  • Creating marketing materials including presentations, social media and thought leadership content, and cut sheets
  • Leading award submissions
  • Developing and managing the annual marketing plan schedule and budget for identified business unit(s)
  • Coordinating business development calls and providing appropriate reports
  • Other tasks as assigned.

A valid driver's license and occasional travel will be required.


The successful candidate will have a combination of education and/or experience totaling six years of relevant experience. Any of the following is acceptable:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, communications, or related discipline from an accredited college or university AND at least 2 years of relevant experience

OR

  • Associate degree in marketing, business administration, communications, or related discipline from an accredited college or university AND at least 4 years of relevant experience

OR

  • If no degree, the successful candidate must have at least 6 years of relevant experience.


The ideal candidate will have experience in any/all of the following:

  • Leading & developing proposals (RFP/RFQs)
  • Translating technical language into stories and easy-to-digest content
  • High level of quality in copy editing
  • Juggling priorities and multiple deadlines
  • Adobe InDesign; Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Word; and CRM databases
  • Experience or familiarity with generative AI-driven tools, platforms, or systems (e.g., Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini) to enhance productivity, automate tasks, and reduce errors
  • Working at an architecture, engineering, or construction (AEC) firm.

Salary Range: $61,000 to $77,000 - Actual compensation may vary due to other factors such as experience, skill set or location.
