Where You'll Make a Difference
  • Support creative Flavorists in the development of new flavors for customers.
  • Accurately compound flavor formulations and assist in all steps of the formulation process.
  • Handle raw materials, manage flavor stocks, and maintain an organized laboratory environment.
  • Measure physical properties of flavors and support data recording as required.
  • Prepare raw materials for evaluation and ensure availability for daily lab use.
  • Follow all laboratory and plant safety rules and GMP guidelines.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Applications, Sales, QC and Sensory.
  • Apply flavors into bases and participate in tastings and product evaluations.
  • Understand project workflows-from creation to application, production and scale-up.
  • Build foundational knowledge of C&A and R&D libraries/tools within the IFF toolbox.
What Makes You the Right Fit
  • Strong computer skills, including SAP, Microsoft Office and IFF systems (as required).
  • Strong practical math skills for preparing dilutions and supporting flavor creation processes.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to interact effectively with internal and external partners.
  • Ability to taste and evaluate sensory attributes of flavors and applications.
  • Collaborative mindset and willingness to support team objectives.
  • Fluent English communication.
  • Well-organized, proactive self-starter with motivation to develop new skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Biological or Chemical Sciences with 1-2 years of lab experience OR minimum 3 years industrial lab or chemical industry experience with strong motivation for continued development.
How Would You Stand Out?
  • Previous experience in a flavor laboratory or food & beverage R&D environment.
  • Familiarity with sensory evaluation or analytical testing methods.
  • Ability to quickly adapt to new digital tools, lab systems and technologies.
