What You'll Do:

Champion Safety. Follow all company safety policies and procedures. Load customers in a safe manner. Warn customers when the loading procedure might cause damage to their vehicle and send those customers to the store for instruction. Know proper procedures for handling spills.

Provide Customer Service. Provide service to customers for product information, loading, and general information. Respond quickly to customer needs. Must be courteous to customers per company policies and procedures.

Maintain Facilities. Operate equipment safely to load customers and maintain the facility. Keep the store and all outside areas of the facility clean and orderly. Perform routine equipment maintenance at the direction of the store manager. Maintain areas of responsibility and keep them clean.

Work with Others. Work as part of a team to assist fellow employees during the work day.

Monitor Inventory. Assist the store manager with inventory control. Stock or return inventory to the proper place, and immediately report any defects to a supervisor.

Additional Responsibilities. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Skills You'll Need:

Functional Knowledge. Must be knowledgeable about products and usage. Must have the ability to safely operate all machinery necessary to perform the job duties.

Time Management Skills. Must be able to effectively manage time so that all orders are pulled with efficiency and accuracy.

Flexibility. Must be willing to work overtime and extended hours depending on customer and company demands. Must be able to work outside in all types of weather conditions and tolerate being exposed to loud noises.

Salary. The salary is prescribed by the applicable collective bargaining agreement. Candidates will be placed according to union contract salary scale at $31.70 per hour.
